I am a Second Grade teacher at Hatfield Elementary School. I reside in South Deerfield with my two boys Brandyn (17) and Brett (14).
I graduated from Westfield State University in 1994 with a bachelors in Early Childhood Education. I taught Title 1 and Second Grade in Winchester NH for 4 years. I left teaching in 2002 to raise my two boys. While at home I opened a home daycare for 4 years. I re-entered the public schools as a substitute and paraprofessional in 2006. From there I taught Title 1 at Bridge Street School in Northampton in 2009-2010. Finally I arrived in Hatfield to teach Second Grade. In May 2011 I graduated from American International College with a Masters in Reading. I was recently certified as a Mimio Trainer. This is training for the interactive whiteboard used in the classroom.
My hobbies include playing soccer, salsa dancing, scrapbooking, and watching my boys in all the sports they participate in.
